Trello Power-Ups

Overview –

I redesigned how Power-Ups are discovered, accessed, and managed on Trello boards.

Context –

Power-Ups are apps and integrations that give Trello boards extra functionality. Since Power-ups were hidden within the board menu, most users didn’t find them and if they did, weren’t sure what they were or how to use them.

For users who enabled Power-ups, buttons would shift buttons around in the board header, making it cluttered and difficult to find important functionality.

In short, we hypothesized that increasing the discoverability of Power-Ups, making them easy to manage, and grouping functionality together in a logical way would result in more Power-Up adoption and a better board experience.

Mine and my team’s work resulted in an increased Power-Up MAU of nearly Xk (need to get final number).
